“Deck stringer meets transom. There is a very subtle bit of tumblehome at the transom, shown by the precut transom edge.

To twist the stringer so that it follows the tumblehome we clamped an upright perpendicular to it, which we then pulled over with baler twine until the width of the stringer was parallel to the edge of the transom.”
